Step OneIf you haven't already, go to Apple's iTunes Store and purchase CAVU Pro. Follow instructions to download the CAVU Pro application to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. REMEMBER: CAVU Pro needs Cirrus Surveillance Management software to receive live and archived video from your IP cameras. |
Step TwoDon't already have Cirrus? Cirrus puts you in control of your cameras. It allows you to view, manage, and store live and recorded video. Cirrus allows video alarms and events to be streamed to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch using CAVU Pro.

Step ThreeOnce you have purchased and downloaded both CAVU Pro and Cirrus, connected them to your server (Mac), your cameras, and your storage device - you are finished! Congratulations! |
System/Hardware Requirements
- iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, WiFi, 3G, 3GS, EDGE network connected device, Cirrus Surveillance Management software installed
- Network connected or USB cameras for information about 'registering your cameras' via the support page on this website). If you question support for a specific camera, please check with us first.
- Mac computer with Intel CPU. A high-end Mac mini is the optimal choice, but a MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro all work
- 1 GB of RAM (2 GB would be best)
- 300 MB of hard drive space
- MUST: Add storage device (USB or FireWire, 500 GB minimum) connected to your Mac computer/server. If your Mac has a secondary drive, that can be used, but do not use your primary OS X drive
- Mac OS X 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard) or later with all the recent updates
- Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser (recommended for Windows)
- Google Chrome or Safari (recommended for Macs)
